2018 USA Film Festival

The 2018 USA Film Festival will feature a salute to actor Richard Chamberlain in conjunction with a special repertory screening of 1977's The Last Wave and an on-stage conversation with Chamberlain himself; a screening of Leave No Trace, writer/director Debra Granik's first film since 2010's Winter's Bone; and a closing night screening of Tully, starring Charlize Theron, written by Diablo Cody, and directed by Jason Reitman.
Other notable films will include a modern-day adaptation of Little Women starring Lea Thompson; the documentary RBG, which explores the incredible life of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg; Disobedience, starring Rachel Weisz, Rachel McAdams, and Alessandro Nivola; and The Gospel According to André, an intimate documentary profiling fashion guru André Leon Talley.
The festival will also feature appearances by Dallas' own Stephen Tobolowsky, who will host a short film showcase and a screening of his 2015 documentary, The Primary Instinct; writer Daniel Pearle, who will present his new film, A Kid Like Jake, based on his play and starring Claire Danes and Jim Parsons; and director Dana Adam Shapiro and producer Carra Greenberg, who will present their documentary, Daughters of the Sexual Revolution: The Untold Story of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
