Team Lead

Location: Coppell, TX

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and carriers

• Manage new and existing customer accounts and solicit freight

• Present rates to customers and sales team

• Process and generate shipment orders in company TMS

• Communicate with carriers and tender loads

• Plan, manage, and trace shipments

• Identify issues and work cross-functionally to determine and implement the best solution

• Be on-call on holidays, weekends, and after traditional office hours

• Other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Looking for someone who is business-minded, self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, Proficient negotiating skills, and analytical skills.

• Possess strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.

• Three to five years’ experience as a logistics broker (full cradle to grave)

• Established customer and carrier relationships preferred (Not Required)

• Driven and competitive nature

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization

• Work independently and as a part of a team
