ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Paralegal to join our legal team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting various corporate legal activities, including business contracts and agreements, real estate transactions, and other legal administrative tasks. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining business contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research on corporate, real estate, and regulatory matters as needed.
• Support real estate transactions, including preparation and organization of relevant documents.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external legal counsel to facilitate contract negotiations and closings.
• Maintain and organize legal files and ensure all documentation is up to date.
• Prepare and file legal documents, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling, correspondence, and handling confidential information.
• Manage legal databases, track deadlines, and ensure timely filings and submissions.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
• Associate degree or certification in Paralegal Studies; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience working in a corporate legal environment, with a focus on business contracts, agreements, and real estate transactions.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology and corporate law practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
• Experience in real estate transactions.
• Familiarity with contract management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual: English and Korean (Prof Bus) preferred.
